This Privacy Policy explains how StudyBuddy (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our website at thestudybuddy.com.au.
What information do we collect?
Information you provide: When you use StudyBuddy, you enter your first name and year level. This information is used only to personalise your study session and is not stored on our servers.
Homework content: When you upload a homework sheet or image, the content is sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI to generate study questions. We do not store your homework sheets or the questions generated from them.
Chat messages: Messages you send to the AI tutor are sent to Anthropic’s Claude AI to generate responses. These are not stored by us.
Third party services
StudyBuddy uses Anthropic Claude AI to power the homework analysis and tutor chat. Content you upload or type is processed by Anthropic in accordance with Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
Children’s privacy
StudyBuddy is designed for use by school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not require account registration and do not store personal details. Parents or guardians with questions are welcome to contact us.
Cookies
Our website uses standard WordPress cookies for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
