Yes! StudyBuddy is completely free to use. Just visit the site, enter your name and year level, upload your homework sheet and start studying.
📄 What file types can I upload?
You can upload images (photos of your homework sheet work great!), PDF files, and Microsoft Word documents (.docx). If your teacher emails you a worksheet, just save it and upload it directly.
📚 What subjects does it work for?
StudyBuddy works for any subject — Maths, English, Science, Digital Technology, Religion, HPE, History, Geography, Languages, Art and more. The AI reads your homework sheet and figures out the subject and topic automatically.
🎓 What year levels is it for?
StudyBuddy supports Year 3 through to Year 12, plus University. The AI adjusts its language and question difficulty based on your year level.
🤖 Will it just do my homework for me?
No — and that’s intentional! StudyBuddy is designed to help you understand your homework, not do it for you. The AI tutor will give hints and guide your thinking rather than just handing over answers. You’ll actually learn the material, which means you’ll be ready when it comes up in a test.
🔒 Is my homework kept private?
Yes. We don’t store your homework sheets, your answers, or your chat messages. Everything is processed in the moment and not saved anywhere.
📱 Does it work on my phone?
Yes! StudyBuddy works on phones, tablets and computers. You can even take a photo of your homework sheet on your phone and upload it directly.
